5 out of 5 stars My first & Favourite Album eva!   November 28, 2001

This is a totally unbeatable album and if people dont like this then they have something wrong with them! Anyway this is the review for all the songs.

Standing on the edge - I liked this song more at first but now i realise why some people say this is weak. Still OK though! 7/10

Buck Rogers - I've loved this song from the day it came out and never got tired of it! Great chorus 10/10

Piece by Piece - Nice mellow song and cant think of much else to say! 8/10

Seven days for the sun - 2nd release from the album and i love it. Very fast and loud lyrics from Grant which is great after a song like Piece by Piece. 9/10

We Cant Rewind - Great song. A bit in between Mellow and hard. Its nice and good chorus 9/10

Turn - 3rd Release from album and its grown on me so much. At first i did'nt much like it but now its one of my favorite tracks! If you notice they always play it on eastenders in the background! 9.5/10

Choke - Not one of the best tracks but as you listen to it more it gets better. Some good lyrics though. 7.5/10

Oxygen - A favorite song by many listeners such as my mates. Its great for a mellow 1. 9/10

Tell all ya friends - This is one of my favorites and when i first heard this i totally enjoyed it! A great fast song which is the shortest track on the album. 9.5/10

Under the Weather - A bit of a depressing loud song really but very interesting. Nice chorus. 9.5/10

Satellite News - Fantastic song. It takes a while to get into the chorus but it is 5 minutes long! This would have to be my favorite along with Buck Rogers i think. Easy listening song.

Bug - I didnt much like this at first but then I got into it quite a lot. My Dad does'nt like it but who cares! Not one of my faves though. 7.5/10

This is a great album and i recommend it to any one. People who like hard rock, people who like soft rock, and people who like pop rock, will love this album... I'm glad i found out about the band, because they make some great music. I thoroughly recommend buying this album.

5 out of 5 stars Feeder Come Alive   September 28, 2003

A brilliant album from one of the best British rock (indie rock) bands. This album has everything a great album should have and more, it is truly a masterpiece. The song Buck Rogers was absolutely huge in the UK and really helped to promote and sell the album, fortunately that was the only single to be hugely overplayed. Every song is absolutely superb, especially We can't rewind and Turn, which in my opinion are two of the best Feeder songs. Anyone's music collection that doesn't contain this cd is incomplete. Feeder ROCK!! especially echo park!

5 out of 5 stars The most amazing album ever!   April 6, 2004

This is the most fantastic album i have ever heard. i don't think I truely appreciated music until I first heard Feeder! They really are amazing and this album completely showcases them. Every song is great in its own way and it's so difficult to chose a favourite because of this. There are 'happy' songs like Buck Rodgers and Seven Days in the Sun which make you want to leap around playing air guitar and more mellow ones like Turn and Oxygen that are great at making you reflect on life. if you don't listen to it you are really missing out!

5 out of 5 stars Rocks Like Few Things Do   July 23, 2006

First of all, I'm not a super major Feeder fan. I've only heard "Polythene" and "Yesterday Went Too Soon" and liked Yesterday better. That being said, "Echo Park" is the best of those three.

This album is solid from beginning to end. I had a hard time picking a favorite tune. In fact, it was one of the best albums I've heard since Embrace's "Out of Nothing." It's one of those just-push-play kind of albums. The content and form of each song is fitting: the rockers kick, and the ballads were true to themselves, not wimpy or contrived.

Check out: Satellite News, Piece by Piece, Turn, Seven Days..., and Under the Weather for a good sampling. Buy this and let your friends borrow it.
