Nice way to introduce the Young Money Crew. December 21, 2009 Jason Cleveland 10 out of 15 found this review helpful
The beats are nice and the rappers go hard and all stand alone as great lyrisist without too much help from Wayne. But Wayne of course is still the dopest MC in the crew. I think this cd serves more as a introduction with freestylish flows from each artist to display there true lyrical abilitys. Dope cd everyone should check it out
Awesome March 18, 2010 Amy L. Daughtry (Indianapolis, IN) THey were all killin it on this cd. I ordered it for my boyfriend in prison and he absolutely loved it!!
Young Money Success March 29, 2010 Criv We Are Young Money was a much talked about debut album in the Hip-Hop community. Being one of the first "rap group" that has released a studio album in recent memory and also being the students of label head Lil Wayne, this album generated a lot of interest. I think that this album was a lot better than it expected. Lil Wayne proved his mastermind with this album as every verse and appearance on the songs by the members of Young Money was planned out and executed brilliantly. In order to build up anticipation for the two most talked about members of Young Money, Nicki Minaj and Drake, there appearances on the album were rare but well placed and they more than delivered on their verses. Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda and Tyga are three of the more unknown members of the group, were put on more of the songs allowing them to shine and promote their individual skills. Lil Twist and Lil Chukee also played into their role as teen heart throbs in their song "Girl I Got You."
Overall the album was very good with each individual putting in their part and performing at the top of their game. I would recommend it for any fan of good rap and especially those who follow Lil Wayne.
great CD June 8, 2010 Carrie Mingo This is sick, and i gotta say i liked almost every single song, which is rare because a lot of cds just have a few good ones and others that you just can't get into, this cd is good!!!!
Nice!!!!! December 25, 2009 Ms. Akima R. (Miami,Fl.) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
A great introduction to the new members of Young Money! The beats are great and Iam in love with Drake and Jae Millz! Jae Millz should have been out in the mainstream instead of underground! This does have a Wu-Tang feel, but I think everyone will soon be releasing solo projects. Drake, Jae Millz, and Nikki Minaj aren't meant to be in a group you can't keep that much talent in a group, so they will be the first to release solo CD's. Lil'Wayne is just the icing on the cake. I love Bedrock the best and Every Girl coming in at a close second. Great Music!
